 Mojo magic?????
How do you guys feel about the mojos'. There has been a lot of dicussion about the ovrall effectivness or if they should even be legal. Your thoughts???
I had my first experience with one several years ago in the early season. Granted it was early season and we were the only ones there. BUT, every duck in the area gave us a pass, we had a great shoot. At that point in time, I had to have one. Fast forward several years! First, I have no problem with it being legal. It's a decoy, nuff said. Mine is the mallard drake with remote and (plug here) it works great. The! only negative I can see is now most everyone has one in the boat. So from the birds eye view, they will see the thing flapping all over the marsh. I do think they get wise later in the season, at that point the remote comes into play. Once you have em on the string, cut it off and close the deal.My huntin buddy now has one two so we have one on a high pole and one on a low pole. Simply put, works great.....most of the time!

 Re: Mojo magic?????
I've rarley hunted over one but I've seen guys in other blinds have them and some days watched them pull birds all day then other days they flared birds all day. In my opinion I'd rather do without it but it's all about bening where the birds wanna be.

 Re: Mojo magic?????
I bought a teal at the beggining of the season. I didnt get to use it much because of water depth, but the times I did I got some passes but none decoyed.

 Re: Mojo magic?????
I have heard mixed things on the mojo. I have heard that it depends on clouds or sunshine. Can't remember when to use and not to use. I have heard that the jerk string is the best setup for movement. That is one that I am itching to try.

 Re: Mojo magic?????
I have a buddy out in Arkansas that hunts only public land and they work awesome. Most guys set out one or two Mojo's so the duck tend to shy away from them. So my buddy and his boys pooled their Mojo's and put out 7 of em. Those ducks had never seen so many spinning wings and they pulled every flying duck into their spread! They definitely work but you gotta do things different than everyone else.

 Re: Mojo magic?????
Ducks love the color "white"..... I keep a drake buffie on a jerk string and on those calm day, it's the trick. But, as noted. I've been on the marsh ,being the only one having a mojo and tore em up.... Also been out when all corners of that same marsh had one going...."Not too Go".

 Re: Mojo magic?????
I got two and they have flared a few geese. But I've had few buffies almost run into both of them
